Whether you are new to meditation or have a developed a meditation practice, this class will offer insights and tools to help improve your practice and life. You will get to discuss and practice Mindfulness meditation, it’s attributes, history, and impact on individuals, community, and the world. You will experience a technique called R.A.I.N., developed by Psychologist and Buddhist teacher Tara Brach. (R.A.I.N. = Recognize, Allow, Investigate, Nurture).
Michael Alliman is a spiritual teacher, Reiki Master, Buddhist Practitioner, and meditation leader (in addition to his day job as the Accounting Manager at Unity of Houston).
