Speaker Proposals
One of the most unique ways we provide support for spiritual transformation is through hosting nationally and internationally known speakers. All proposals are considered by the church's Special Programs Committee (SPC).
Unity Church of Christianity hosts speakers who have:

Three or more years of speaking experience

Published books, tapes or CDs
-
Spoken at a minimum of three New Thought venues to groups of more than 250
-
Have at least three excellent references from well-known New Thought venues

Have fully completed and mailed the UCC Speaker Application Form or email to to: specialevents@unityhouston.org
Typically, the SPC schedules speakers six to twelve months in advance. If you meet the criteria above, we look forward to reviewing your application. Once an application has been received it will be reviewed and a response will be sent within 90 days.
It is important to complete the form in it's entirety, even though you may feel everything is covered in the materials you attach. The Special Programs Committee meets once every 2-3 months. Time is important so please do not rely on each member having time to review every item in the packet. Complete the form with your "Attention Getter" that will encourage the committee to review further.
