Ann Lister - Volunteer Coordinator
 Ann is the Volunteer Ministry's new part-time Volunteer Coordinator and brings much enthusiasm and know-how to the volunteer ministry. Ann's experience, spiritual wisdom, and warmth make her a fantastic addition to our church staff.
Ann Lister is assigned the clear leader and "go to" person for the following teams:
- SUNDAYS: Assistant Service Coordinator | Ushers & Greeters | Welcome Team | Refreshment Team | Information Team
- SPECIAL EVENTS: Special Event Greeters & Ushers | Ticket Taker Team | Friday Night Contemporary Service
- GENERAL: Guest Services | Office Angels | Bookstore
Her duties will also flow into oversight of various other events and activities scheduled at Unity. You may contact Ann at alister@unityhouston.org or call 713-782-4050 Tues & Thurs.

There are many opportunities to volunteer, ranging from one-time events to on-going commitments, from behind-the-scenes tasks to front-and-center positions, from working with preschoolers to working with Unity's dynamic speaker events, from one Sunday to every Sunday!
Sunday or Wednesday Evening

Refreshment Team—Serve coffee or tea in the Courtyard on Sunday mornings once or twice a month. An added benefit is the opportunity to greet fellow congregants and help bring the Unity welcome to each.

Greeter, Usher—As the first Unity representative churchgoers often encounter, Greeters and Ushers become the face of Unity for many. Your welcoming smile can ensure visits begin amid Unity’s unconditional acceptance. Opportunities are available most Sundays, Wednesdays and Special Events.

Library Team—Eager to help others in exploration of Unity and New Thought writings? Assist in our peaceful Unity Library one or more Sundays each month.

Green Recycle Team—Join this dedicated team and decrease paper waste by sorting service folder for the reusable inserts. On Sundays following services, twice or more a month.
Weekdays in Unity Offices
- Office Angel—Contribute to the smooth flow our church office. Various tasks, depending on skills, could include filing, copying, computer input, preparing mailings, or other activities. 4 – 6 hours, one or more days each week.
- Bulletin Prep Team—Join this pleasant team and be part of their camaraderie while assembling worship service folders on Wednesday mornings.
