Associate Ministers
Dian Williams, Associate Minister
Reverend Dian Williams joined the ministerial staff at Unity Church of Christianity as an associate minister in June of 2003. She speaks at Wednesday Nite Live services oversees the Pastoral Care department, acts as liaison to Couples in Unity, Empowerment Prayer Groups, Grief Support, Habitat for Humanity and the Quarterly Blood Drives. Dian became an ordained minister in 1998 as a graduate of the Continuing Education and Ministerial Education Program at Unity School of Religious Studies and acted as president for SCUCA (South Central Unity Churches Association, 2005 - 2007). Along with her husband, Rev. Ed Williams, Dian served as co-minister at Unity Center of Tulsa from 1998 through 2003. Prior to studying at Unity Village, Dian served as a registered nurse for eight years after graduating from the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA with a Bachelors degree in Health Science. Dian and her husband Ed have four children and nine grandchildren.
Farolyn Mann, Associate Minister
Reverend Farolyn Mann returned to Unity Church of Christianity, her home church, to join the staff as Associate Minister in November, 2004. She oversees the Unity Friends Prayer Ministry, Adult Education, Licensed Teachers, Counseling Departments, Voice of Inspiration Phone Ministry, Prayer Letters, Seniors, Singles, Young Adults, Adult Sunday Classes and the Unity Bookstore. Ordained in June 2004 through the Ministerial Education Program at Unity School of Religious Studies, Farolyn brings to the ministry a thirty year history of Management and Leadership as a Senior Officer in the field of banking. In addition, she served as a Licensed Unity Teacher here at our church from 1999 until 2002 where she was the Adult Education Coordinator and Director of the Counseling Department.
Mindy Lawrence, Minister of Volunteers
Reverend Mindy Lawrence has been Minister of Volunteers since September 2003. Additionally she oversees Unity Peacemakers, the Salvation Army, Christmas Gift Project, Rebuilding Together Houston and is liaison to the community self help programs on campus. Ordained in 1998, her first ministry took her to Pune, India where she established a Unity ministry and Silent Unity-India and founded a tutorial school for young students. Currently in the international arena, Mindy serves as co-chair of the World Wide Unity Movement Team which links US-based churches with Unity ministries internationally. Her previous careers are as diverse as kindergarten teaching; managing a tree farm and cattle ranch; substance abuse counseling to commercial real estate leasing and management and owner of several businesses.
