Howard Caesar
Reverend Howard Caesar and his wife Diane joined the staff at Unity Church of Christianity in Houston, Texas, in 1983 after building a dynamic ministry for over seven years at Unity Church in Olympia, WA. Under his leadership, Unity Church of Christianity has grown into one of the largest Unity congregations in the Unity movement.
Each Sunday, Rev. Caesar’s message focuses on a positive, practical and progressive approach to Christianity applied to daily living. His message reaches many more who listen to his television broadcast “The High Way with Howard Caesar” on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. on KTBU Channel 55.
In describing one aspect of his vision for the ministry, he has coined the phrase, “A spiritual path for our time.” Rev. Caesar’s spiritual sharing has helped many find a deeper spiritual meaning in their lives while experiencing happier, healthier and more productive ways of living. On two occasions, Houston Press readers have chosen Unity Church of Christianity as “Best Place To Worship In Houston,” and Inside Houston magazine’s Best of Houston city-wide readers poll also selected the church as “Best Place of Worship.” Rev. Caesar has been featured in major articles in the Houston Chronicle and as a panelist for KHOU-Channel 11's Faith and Values segments.
As a member of the prestigious Board of Preachers at the Martin Luther King Chapel at Atlanta’s Morehouse College, Rev. Caesar is recognized as one of the foremost leaders and speakers in New Thought, traveling the world to meet with religious leaders such as his Holiness The Dali Lama. He is a founding member of the Leadership Council of the Association for Global New Thought (AGNT) and previously served on the Boards of the International New Thought Alliance (INTA) and the Association of Unity Churches.
He is the recipient of The Light of God Expressing Award, The Voice of Unity Award, and The Lifetime Achievement Award; accolades given by his peers for his dedication, commitment, and leadership.
Rev. Caesar’s friendships with many well-known speakers led to his formation of Unity Church of Christianity’s Dynamic Speaker Series, which has hosted the late Norman Vincent Peale, the late Og Mandino, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, M. Scott Peck, Neale Donald Walsch, Marianne Williamson, Gary Zukov, Gregg Braden, Cheryl Richardson and many others.
Howard and his wife Diane have three grown children and reside in Sugar Land, Texas.
