Unity Choir & Unity Ensemble Group
Unity Houston has an amazing team of musicians and singers who bring inspiring music to our weekly services. Our music at Unity is well known for its great variety in musical styles.

Greg van Rozenburg, Music Director
Greg van Rozenburg has been the Music Director since 2003, overseeing the singers, musicians and guest artists. Additionally, Greg also conducts the Unity Ensemble. He was born in the Netherlands, raised in the Caribbean island of Curaçao and is fluent in 4 languages.
Rev. Michael Gott, Choir Director
Michael is known for integrating dynamic teaching and speaking with his musical ministry. Having completed his ministerial training with the Ernest Holmes Institute, Michael oversees our Wednesday Nite Live program, our Unity Choir, and also teaches a number of dynamic. spiritual classes.
Boris L. Britt, originally from La Grange, North Carolina, currently resides here in Houston, TX. He began singing as early as 12 years old while learning from different private voice mentors and tutors from Middle School and throughout his Career in Physical Therapy. Boris studied private voice and stage performance under Dr. Wayne Battie at Virginia Common Wealth University in Richmond, VA. Boris has been singing for over 35 years before live audiences across the country and has been a member of Unity for over 15 years. Boris is currently undertaking studies at The Centers for Spiritual Living to become a Licensed Science of Mind Minister. His passion is MUSIC, LIFE, LOVE, and BEAUTY.
Gary Norian, originally from Chicago, is a 15 year native Texan. He performs around Houston, has a thriving teaching studio, and can be seen and heard at Unity each and every Sunday. Recently, Gary has performed with the Houston Symphony with guest artist Megan Hilty, and New York Pops conductor, Steven Reineke.
Julia Kay Laskowski, has performed with every prominent theater in Houston. She sang the title role in Always. . . Patsy Cline for 18 months – the longest running musical ever in Houston and again in Iowa and at the Texas Repertory Theater in North Houston. She is a graduate of California Institute of the Arts, where she began her career as an opera singer. Julia occasionally performs in an Italian tour, IL MITO DI BROADWAY! She is currently writing and performing with partner, Patti Rabaza. These two incredibly versatile singers are becoming known in Houston and the surrounding areas for their spectacular concert series.
Keith was voted "Best Bass Player in Houston" in 1998 by the critics poll in Public News Magazine. Keith has performed and recorded with such artists as Howard Hewitt, Bobby Lyle, Harvey Mason, Ricky Lawson, Everrete Harp, Kirk Whalum, Mindi Abair, Branford Marsalis, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Randy & Michael Brecker, Joe Henderson, Joe Lavano & Grammy Award Winning "La Mafia", Scott Gertner Band, TKOH, The Franchise, Stanley Turlentine, Les McCaan, Carl Fontana, Ben Vereen, Dwight Sills, V. Michael McKay, Larry Correal, Little Joe Hernandez, The Drifters, The Coasters.
Hailed as one of the "Faces to Watch" and “…one of a new breed of opera singers…” tenor, Kenneth Gayle continues to accumulate accolades in a national career spanning opera, concert and stage. Currently serving as Producing Director at Music Doing Good, Mr. Gayle is an alumnus of the Lyric Opera Center for American Artists, the Seattle Opera Young Artist Program and a cum laude graduate of the College of Creative Arts at West Virginia University.
Richard Cholakian, a professional drummer since 1993 who playing styles include jazz, Latin, blues, pop, rock, and more. He has played at the following venues: hotels, cruise ships, restaurants, clubs, festivals, churches and more. Richard attended the University of Houston Percussion Department from 1993 to 1995 as well as participated in the Houston Community College Jazz Band between 1992-1996. Richard is proud to have been a part of numerous recordings.
