Honoring Black History: “Up to the Mountain”
Join us as we celebrate Black History Month at Unity. This has become one of the top highlights of the year in our church. This year our choir will be once again led by guest director/soloist Stephanie Bland. Los Angeles recording artist Charles Holt will also be featured. Rev. Michael Gott will deliver the message, “Up to the Mountain,” drawing inspiration from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s final speech. It is a message of hope, faith and encouragement as we further the work of justice and equality for all people.
Our Sunday morning services are conducted in the main Sanctuary and are our most well-attended services during the week. These services incorporate an uplifting music program, guided meditation and a positive, thought-provoking message delivered. Our nursery and Sunday School programs are open to children during our Sunday morning services. Childcare available. For more information call our offices at 713-782-4050.
If you are one of our friends that live out of town, or you happen to miss the Sunday Lesson, you may hear them once they are available, at our Media & Resources section.
